Wings To The Spirit Newsletter
March 29, 2010
Website address: wingstothespirit.com

We have had problems with our website, wingstothespirit.org, for over a month. It seems that it is accessible in some areas, and in other places its availability is intermittent. While we have been working to solve the problem, we have secured the site wingstothespirit.com, and ask you to use this address for the time being. Also, when sharing Wings news with others, please pass on this new address to them. We have had no problems with this new site address.

In addition, we have discovered that many of you have not been receiving our newsletters. We have changed the newsletter service provider on our website, and have high hopes that we will no longer have problems getting "the word out" to you. Please check under the Newsletters button on the Wings website for previous newsletters you may not have received.

Workshop Preview

We mentioned in our last newsletter that we would be sharing with you some details of workshops planned for the conference as we get closer to the date. Artist and sculptor, Shaughnessy Johnson, in describing his workshop, writes: "Through the calling of the drum, participants will be moved to release the subconscious and invite ancestral images to come forward. As the creative instinct is freed, the human spirit brings forth these symbols from the invisible and hidden realm into the plane of the visible by transforming a block of sandstone into a sculpture." Workshop participants will have a chance to see Shaughnessy at work, and then experience carving the sandstone themselves.

Come and join us!

“That day will the Cause spread like wildfire when its spirit and teachings are presented on the stage or in art and literature as a whole. Art can better awaken such noble sentiments than cold rationalizing, especially among the mass of the people.”
