The Wings to The Spirit Planning Committee is happy to offer a limited number of need based scholarships to individuals who wish to attend the 2008 Conference. Scholarships will cover 50% of the conference fees only.

If you wish to apply for a scholarship, please ask that your closest Local Spiritual Assembly or Assistant to an Auxiliary Board Member write a letter of request expressing your need for financial assistance. The letter should also express your ability to responsibly fulfill a service requirement for the receipt of your scholarship.

Each scholarship will be awarded on a case by case basis according to the following guidelines:

1. Recipient must be 18 years of age or older
2. Recipient may be asked to stay up late for evening activities
3. Recipient must not have received a scholarship in 2007
4. Recipient should preferably be able to attend all four days of the conference.
5. Recipient must sign and return a scholarship agreement letter.

The following list of services will be needed during the conference:

1. Marketplace sitters will assist the Marketplace Mistress.
2. Runner/Ushers in presentation rooms will be responsible for helping other attendees navigate the conference premises, making announcements before sessions, collecting surveys, assisting presenters during breakout sessions.
3. Coffee Shop sitters will assist committee member in charge of Coffee Shop in the evenings and will need to be able to stay up later each evening.
4. Marketplace promoters will assist the Marketplace Mistress by encouraging and reminding other conference attendees to come to the Marketplace.
